SEO for small business that brings in calls, bookings and sales
When people need what you sell, they search Google or ask ChatGPT, then call, book or buy from whoever they find. This work makes sure they find you, and every month you see what was done and what it brought in. The strategy, the pages, your Google profile, the technical fixes, AI search and the tracking, all done for you.
Customers search before they call or buy. They pick whoever shows up.
People search Google or ask ChatGPT before they call a plumber, book an accountant or buy a gift. Then they pick from what they see. If your business isn't there, the job goes to someone else.

The pages that bring in calls and customers
Most small business sites have a Home page, an About page and one Services page that lists everything. People search for something specific, so they need to land on a page about exactly that. These get planned, written and built for you.
Service pages
One for each thing you do, with prices, photos and a way to call or book.
Area pages
For each town you serve, with real jobs and reviews from there.
Product and category pages
For online stores: your range laid out the way people shop.
Answer pages
Costs, comparisons and how-tos. The questions people ask before they buy.
Proof
Reviews, photos, before-and-afters and case studies, on the pages that sell.
Every month you'll see what you paid for
No wall of charts. A short report in plain words: calls, bookings and sales from search, what got done on your site and what's next. So you always know what the work is worth.
Every call, booking and order counted
Calls from your site and your Google profile, booking requests and online orders all get tracked, so you can see what search brought in.
Every change listed
Each month you get a list of what got done and the page it was done on. Nothing to decode, nothing hidden.
Rankings and traffic too
Google and AI search visibility are in there as well, just further down.
A stone supplier and a music retailer, and what changed
One was a 30-year-old business up against strong competitors. The other had technical problems holding its site back.
A 30-year-old stone business up against strong competitors. The site took over 3 seconds to load, and products were hard to find.
Planned the pages around how people search for stone: by material, by use and by color.
Made the site faster. It used to take over 3 seconds to load.
Reorganized the collections so products are easy to browse and find.
Found the searches competitors had left open, and got links from relevant, quality sites.
The technical problems holding the site back got fixed. The category pages were reworked, the product pages rebuilt, and the brand got built up as a name people trust in its niche.
What the first 90 days look like
No waiting months for a strategy deck. Work starts in week one, and changes start going live on your site in the first month.
Find what's worth winning
A look at your site, your competitors and what your customers search for. You get a plan in plain words, ranked by what brings in the most customers.
Fix what's holding you back
Technical problems, slow pages, your Google profile, call and booking buttons, and tracking for calls, bookings and sales.
Build the missing pages
Your first new service, product or area pages, written for you and checked by you before they go live.
Keep building, keep reporting
More pages, listings and mentions, AI search work, and a report in calls, bookings and sales.
The person behind Win The Search

I've run Win The Search since 2021, and I've done SEO since I was 14.
Before going out on my own, I spent five years at Munday Digital. I started there as a junior and left as head of SEO, after working on 20+ campaigns for Australian and global brands and managing the team of SEOs, writers and VAs behind them.
Since then I've worked on 120+ projects, including a 30-year-old marble and stone supplier and a music equipment retailer. Win The Search is a small business too, so I know every monthly bill has to pay for itself.
I plan the work and I do the work: the pages, the technical fixes, your Google profile, the AI search side and the tracking. Nothing gets handed off to a junior.
That's why reports lead with calls, bookings and sales from search, plus a list of every change made to your site. Traffic and rankings are there too, further down.
What SEO costs for a small business
Quotes run from $300 to $10,000 a month, and most retainers sit between $500 and $2,000. The price says little about the work behind it. Here's the price, and everything that's in it.
Most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, depending on how much gets built each month.
Will $2,500 a month pay for itself?
Work out what a new customer is worth to you after costs, counting repeat work. Divide $2,500 by that. It tells you how many extra customers a month cover the fee.
What clients say about working with me
Vukasin is the best SEO guy I have ever worked with. He has a very strong understanding of SEO and how it correlates to our business expectations, and hardly needed any guidance on what we wanted done. Highly recommended!
Vuk is one of the sharpest SEO/AEO specialists I've worked with — deeply knowledgeable, always a step ahead on where search is heading, and just a joy to collaborate with. Responsive, easy to talk to, and genuinely fun to work with on any project.
Vuk exceeded expectations with his thorough, data-driven SEO audit. Everyone was very impressed with the quality of Vuk's work, his thoughtfulness and clear expertise. Plus, he's easy to work with, delivers on what he says he's going to deliver, and goes above and beyond.
An amazing SEO consultant whose knowledge goes beyond surface level. He's able to outsmart the thousand SEOs who are just looking at what everyone else is doing.
Vuk provides a really wonderful alternative to larger agencies. The results I got from working with him definitely rival what I've gotten from larger, US-based SEO agencies.
I'm impressed with the work he has put in to help me form my SEO strategy. Knowledgeable about the industry, timely with his work and generous with his advice.

+
It's the work that gets your business found when people search for what you sell, on Google, on the map and in AI tools like ChatGPT. That means the right pages, a complete Google Business Profile, a site that works well on phones, mentions on other sites, and tracking that shows which calls, bookings and sales came from search. If most of your customers are nearby, the map matters most, and that part is called local SEO.
What do you actually do each month?
+
The work changes as the site grows, but it's all done for you: research, new pages and rewrites, technical fixes, your Google profile, AI search work, links and mentions, tracking, and a monthly report with a call. Every change gets listed with the page it was made on. You don't get a to-do list. You get the work.
How much does SEO cost for a small business?
+
Quotes run from $300 to $10,000 a month, and most retainers sit between $500 and $2,000. Ongoing work with Win The Search starts at $2,500 a month, most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, and it's month-to-month. Packages at $300 to $800 a month usually cover reports, a few Google posts and some listings.
Is SEO worth it for a small business?
+
It is when people search for what you sell and a few new customers a month cover the cost. Divide the monthly fee by what a new customer is worth to you after costs, and that's the number to beat. It isn't worth it yet if you need calls this week, or if hardly anyone searches for what you sell.
How long until SEO brings in calls and sales?
+
Fixes to your Google profile and to pages already close to page one can show up within weeks. New pages usually take 3 to 6 months to rank, and calls follow the rankings. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is guessing or cutting corners.
Can I do my own SEO, or use ChatGPT?
+
You can do some of it if you have the time. Filling in your Google Business Profile, asking every customer for a review and giving each service its own page are good places to start. ChatGPT can help you draft a page, but it can't see how your site is doing in Google or fix it, and pages written in bulk by AI can hurt more than they help.
Does this help with ChatGPT and AI search?
+
Yes. More customers now ask ChatGPT or Google's AI who to call or what to buy. Those tools lean on the same things Google trusts: clear pages, your Google profile, your reviews and mentions on other sites. So the work that ranks you in Google also gets you named in AI answers.
Why hire a consultant instead of an SEO agency?
+
With an agency you usually talk to an account manager while the work happens somewhere else, often by junior staff. Here you talk to the person who builds the plan and does the work, so nobody has to learn your business twice. An agency is the better fit if you want ads, social media and a new website under one contract.
What do you need from me?
+
Access to your website, your Google Business Profile, Google Search Console and analytics. Then a little of your time: a short call each month, photos from your work, and a yes or no on new pages before they go live.
What will the monthly report show?
+
Calls, bookings and sales from search, what they were worth, and which pages and searches brought them in. Then a plain list of what got done on your site and what's next. Traffic and rankings are in there too, just further down.
Is there a contract, and who owns the website?
+
No minimum term. It's month-to-month, and if month one isn't worth what you paid, you get it back in full. Your website, domain, Google profile and analytics stay in your name the whole time.
Does it matter what my website is built on?
+
Most platforms can rank. On WordPress the changes get made on the site directly. On other platforms, like Webflow, Magento or a custom build, they go to your developers with exact instructions, and get checked once they're live.
