I've been doing SEO for more than half my life
I'm Vukasin, Vuk for short. I'm 29, I've been in SEO for 15 years, and I work from Novi Sad, Serbia with businesses across the US and EU. Most of that work happens on WordPress, which is also where I build everything of my own.

// How I work
Two kinds of experience
Over 15 years I worked in-house, worked for other agencies, freelanced, co-founded an SEO tool for WordPress, and built and ran my own sites. That wild mix (read: ADHD) is the reason I work the way I do.
// Client work
Getting results without full control
Working inside other people's businesses taught me how to operate inside their constraints. Team dynamics, approval cycles, limited budgets and cautious decision-making are part of the job, and you still have to move the numbers.
// My own businesses
Doing it when it's my own money on the line
Nobody is watching and nobody else is going to do it. I handled design, development, marketing, SEO and even the accounting myself, and got used to building and shipping things instead of waiting for someone else to.
Most SEOs only have one of these. When I work with a business, I bring the honesty of the second kind to the constraints of the first. It's not always comfortable, but it's the work I'd want someone to do for me.

// This blog
I genuinely did not want to start another blog
I held out on writing for years, mostly because the Internet already has somewhere north of 900,000 blogs about SEO and WordPress, and a huge number of them read like they were assembled by a committee of robots paid by the keyword. The thought of adding to that particular pile didn't exactly fill me with joy (an SEO who avoids publishing content, yes, I'm aware how that sounds).
What finally got me was having the same conversation with people over and over, the same little “wait, nobody ever told you that?” moment.
I'm also getting absolutely annoyed at the amount of noise getting published by LLMs, so much so that I keep hearing clients come up with ideas they clearly picked up from someone on LinkedIn who cared very little about fact-checking their AI slop. Part of the idea with this blog is trying to tip the scale towards the signal part of the information ecosystem.
So that's all this is, really: sharing the bits and pieces of my work, the reasoning behind my decisions, ranting whenever something pisses me off (not so often lately), and a strict no-“in-today's-fast-paced-digital-landscape” policy.
// Principles
The principles I base my work on
I reserve the right to change my mind the next time Google does something daft, but these guide most of my decisions.
01
The fundamentals change slower than the people shouting about them.
Every week something is “killing SEO”, whether that's an update, AI Overviews, Reddit or zero-click, and the overwhelming majority of it is noise. A few things genuinely are different now, and telling those from the panic is part of my job.
02
A ranking that doesn't sell is just a nicer screenshot.
Rankings and revenue are two separate problems, and the gap between them is where most SEO falls apart. Top spot for a term nobody buys on lands on your P&L exactly like not ranking at all.
03
If the foundation is shaky, the strategy will fail.
Write the best page on the internet, but if it doesn't render properly or sits under a crawl budget you've torched with junk URLs, none of it counts. The boring technical SEO comes first, every time.
04
Whatever ranks you overnight will drop you overnight.
Shitty links, spun content or most clever loopholes can shove you up the rankings for a few weeks, right until the cleanup costs more than you saved. What lasts compounds slowly and boringly, which is exactly why it's impossible to fake for long.
05
SEO is marketing that starts in a search bar.
SEO can't be walled off from your product, your positioning, your brand and the rest of your funnel. Brilliant traffic pointed at a page that doesn't convert is a very efficient way to burn money.
06
No guarantees. Not even the AI ones.
Anyone promising you a guaranteed #1, whether in Google or now in AI search, is either brand new at this or hoping you are. I'll lose the sale before I'll say it to anybody.

What people I've worked with say
★★★★★
Vuk is one of the sharpest SEO/AEO specialists I've worked with — deeply knowledgeable, always a step ahead on where search is heading, and just a joy to collaborate with. Responsive, easy to talk to, and genuinely fun to work with on any project.

Vukasin is the best SEO guy I have ever worked with. He has a very strong understanding of SEO and how it correlates to our business expectations, and hardly needed any guidance on what we wanted done. Highly recommended!

Vuk provides a really wonderful alternative to larger agencies. The results I got from working with him definitely rival what I've gotten from larger, US-based SEO agencies.
