Construction SEO that brings in project inquiries and bid invites
Owners, developers and architects look you up before they ever call. When they search Google or ask ChatGPT for a contractor, this work makes sure they find you, see the projects you've built and get in touch about the next one.
Owners decide who gets to bid before they ever call you
Before an owner, developer or architect invites anyone to bid, they search, look at websites and ask AI tools who has built this kind of project. If your site doesn't show it, they move on, and you never hear about the job.
One Services page for everything
Buyers search for one kind of project: a medical office, a warehouse, a tenant build-out. A single page listing everything you do can't show up for all of them.
Your best projects are hidden
A photo gallery with no details doesn't prove much. Buyers want the size, the sector, the schedule and how it went, written out.
Nothing that says you're a safe choice
Safety record, licenses, certifications and the people who'd run the job are hard to find. The firm that looks safer gets the invite.
Everything it takes to win search, done for you
You don't get a report full of homework. You get the whole job of getting your company found, chosen and invited to bid, handled from start to finish.

The pages that bring in project inquiries
Owners search for the project they have, in the place they're building it. Most construction sites have one Services page and a photo gallery. These pages get planned, written and built for you, using what your team already knows.
Sector pages
Healthcare, education, industrial or whoever you build for, with the projects to back it up.
Service and project-type pages
Design-build, preconstruction, tenant improvements, ground-up builds. One page each.
Market pages
For each city or region you work in, with jobs you've built there.
Project case studies
Size, schedule, the problem you solved, photos and what the owner said.
Proof that you are a safe choice
Safety record, licenses, certifications, the team and how you run a job.
You'll see exactly what search brought in
Traffic is nice. Inquiries and bid invites fill your backlog. Every month you get a report that starts with those, so you always know what the work is worth.
Every inquiry traced to a page
You'll see which pages and searches brought in each inquiry, call and bid invite.
Project value, not just clicks
Inquiries get matched to your CRM or bid log, so the report shows the size and type of work search brought in.
Rankings and traffic too
Google and AI search visibility are in there as well, just further down.
What this work has done for other companies
Both of these projects needed pages planned around how buyers search, a site Google can read and proof that wins the inquiry.
A 30-year-old stone business up against strong competitors. The site took over 3 seconds to load, and products were hard to find.
Planned the pages around how people search for stone: by material, by use and by color.
Made the site faster.
Reorganized the collections so they're easy to browse.
Found the searches competitors had left open.
Got links from relevant, quality sites.
Google was wasting its time on tens of thousands of pages nobody searched for, and it couldn't read the product grid. Both got fixed, and the category pages were matched to what buyers search.
What the first 90 days look like
No waiting months for a strategy deck. Work starts in week one, and changes start going live on your site in the first month.
Find what's worth winning
A look at your site, your competitors and how owners search for the work you want. You get a plan ranked by what will bring in the most inquiries.
Fix what's holding you back
Technical problems, slow pages, pages stuck on page two, inquiry forms and tracking.
Build the missing pages
Your first sector, service and project pages, written with your team from jobs you've already built.
Keep building, keep reporting
More pages and case studies, AI search work, mentions and links, and a report in inquiries and bid invites.
Commercial general contractors
Ground-up, renovation and tenant work for owners and developers.
Pages for each sector and project type, backed by jobs you've built.
Design-build firms
Design and construction under one contract.
Pages that explain how you work, with finished projects to show it.
Specialty and trade contractors
Concrete, steel, MEP, roofing and more, bidding to GCs and owners.
Pages that show your scope, capacity and safety record to the GCs who build bid lists.
Larger residential builders
Custom homes, communities and multifamily.
Pages for each community, home type and area, with photos that sell.
The person behind Win The Search

I've run Win The Search since 2021, and I've done SEO since I was 14.
Before going out on my own, I spent five years at Munday Digital. I started there as a junior and left as head of SEO, after working on 20+ campaigns for Australian and global brands and managing the team of SEOs, writers and VAs behind them.
Since then I've worked on 120+ projects, including a 30-year-old marble and stone supplier, an industrial parts manufacturer and B2B companies with long sales cycles.
I plan the work and I do the work: the pages, the technical fixes, the AI search side and the tracking. Nothing gets handed off to a junior.
That's why reports lead with project inquiries, bid invites and the value of the work, by sector. Traffic and rankings are there too, further down.
What construction SEO costs
Agencies that work with construction companies usually charge $1,500 to $5,000 a month for SEO, often on a 6 to 12-month contract. Here's the price, and everything that's in it.
Most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, depending on how much gets built each month.
An agency makes sense if you want ads, a new website and social media under one contract. If SEO is what you need, you'll get more done with the person doing the work.

Vukasin is the best SEO guy I have ever worked with. He has a very strong understanding of SEO and how it correlates to our business expectations, and hardly needed any guidance on what we wanted done. Highly recommended!
Vuk is one of the sharpest SEO/AEO specialists I've worked with — deeply knowledgeable, always a step ahead on where search is heading, and just a joy to collaborate with. Responsive, easy to talk to, and genuinely fun to work with on any project.
Vuk exceeded expectations with his thorough, data-driven SEO audit. Everyone was very impressed with the quality of Vuk's work, his thoughtfulness and clear expertise. Plus, he's easy to work with, delivers on what he says he's going to deliver, and goes above and beyond.
An amazing SEO consultant whose knowledge goes beyond surface level. He's able to outsmart the thousand SEOs who are just looking at what everyone else is doing.
Vuk provides a really wonderful alternative to larger agencies. The results I got from working with him definitely rival what I've gotten from larger, US-based SEO agencies.
I'm impressed with the work he has put in to help me form my SEO strategy. Knowledgeable about the industry, timely with his work and generous with his advice.

Book a free call →What is construction SEO?
+
It's the work that gets your company found when owners, developers, architects and facility managers search for the kind of project you build, on Google and in AI tools like ChatGPT. That means pages for your sectors, services and markets, project case studies, a site Google can read easily, mentions on other sites, and tracking that shows which searches turn into inquiries.
What do you actually do each month?
+
The work changes as the site grows, but it's all done for you: research, new pages and case studies, rewrites, technical fixes, AI search work, links and mentions, tracking, and a monthly report with a call. You don't get a to-do list. You get the work.
How much does SEO for construction companies cost?
+
Agencies that work with construction companies usually charge $1,500 to $5,000 a month for SEO, and packages that add ads cost more. Ongoing work with Win The Search starts at $2,500 a month, most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, and it's month-to-month.
How long until we see more project inquiries?
+
Fixes to pages already sitting on page two can show up within weeks. New pages usually need 3 to 6 months. Commercial projects take a while to buy, so inquiries and bid invites come first and signed contracts follow.
Most of our work comes from referrals and bid lists. Do we still need SEO?
+
It doesn't replace them, it adds to them. Owners look you up after a referral, and GCs check your site before they add you to a bid list, so a thin site can cost you work you were close to winning. Search also reaches owners earlier, while they're still deciding who to invite.
Can we focus on the sectors and project types we actually want?
+
Yes, that's where the plan starts. Pages get built for the work you want more of, like healthcare, industrial or tenant improvements, in the markets you want to work in. Inquiry forms can ask for project size and timing, so you can sort the good leads from the rest quickly.
How is this different from SEO for home-service contractors?
+
Home-service trades live on the map and reviews, because homeowners want someone nearby, today. Commercial and design-build firms win on project pages, sector experience and proof that they're a safe choice, because the buyer is choosing a partner for a big job. If you mostly do service calls for homeowners, local SEO is the better fit.
Does this help with ChatGPT and AI search?
+
Yes. Owners and facility managers now ask AI tools for contractor shortlists, then check the firms' own sites. AI answers lean on clear pages and facts that match across the web, so the same work that ranks you in Google gets you named in AI answers too. Nobody can promise you a spot, but you can be where AI looks.
What do you need from our team?
+
Access to the site, Google Search Console and analytics, plus photos and details from jobs you've finished. Then a short call when new pages get planned, usually with whoever runs business development or estimating. Someone on your side checks each page before it goes live.
What will the monthly report show?
+
Project inquiries, calls and bid invites from search, the type and size of the work, and which pages and searches brought them in. Traffic and rankings are in there too, just further down.
Why hire a consultant instead of a construction marketing agency?
+
With an agency you usually talk to an account manager while the work happens somewhere else. Here you talk to the person who builds the plan and does the work, so nobody has to learn your business twice. An agency is the better fit if you want ads, a new website and social media under one contract.
Does it matter what our website is built on?
+
Most sites can rank. If yours is on WordPress, the changes get made on the site directly. If it's on another platform, they go to whoever manages your site with exact instructions, and get checked once they're live.
