SEO for remodelers that brings in design consultations and signed projects
Homeowners plan a kitchen or bathroom for months before they call anyone, and they search the whole time. SEO for remodelers keeps you in front of them on Google, on the map and in AI answers, so when they're ready, they book a design consultation with you.
Remodels start with months of searching. The job goes to the remodeler they kept finding.
On average, homeowners spend about 9.5 months planning a kitchen remodel and about 8.4 planning a primary bathroom. All that time they search, first for costs and ideas, then for kitchen remodel remodelers. If your name never comes up, they call another remodeler, or fill in a form on a lead site that sends their request to several pros at once.
No page for the project they're planning
One Services page can't win “kitchen remodel in Fairview”, “basement finishing” and “bathroom remodel cost” at the same time. Each needs its own page.
No real projects to look at
People planning a kitchen want to see kitchens you've finished near them, and roughly what they cost. Stock photos and an old gallery don't show them that.
You only show up near the shop
Most remodelers rank well a few streets from their address and fade after that. The next town over goes to someone else.
The site leaves them guessing
No idea what a project might cost, slow on a phone, no clear way to book a consultation. People go back and pick the next remodeler.
Everything it takes to win remodeling projects from search, done for you
You don't get a report full of homework. You get the whole job of getting your company found, chosen and called, handled from start to finish.

The pages homeowners find while they plan
Most remodeling sites have a Home page, one Services page and a gallery. Homeowners search for one project in one place, like “bathroom remodel in Oak Ridge”, and they look up what it costs long before they call. These pages get planned, written and built for you.

For families who need more roomYour towns
For each main town you work inYou'll see exactly what search brought in
Rankings are nice. Signed projects pay the bills. Every month you get a report that starts with consultations and signed work, so you always know what the work is worth.
Every project traced to its source
You'll see which calls and consultation requests came from your Google profile, your website or AI answers, and the page or search behind each one.
Signed projects, not just leads
Results come from your project list or CRM, so the report shows what got signed and what it was worth, by project type and by town.
Rankings and traffic too
Where you show up across your towns, in Google and in AI answers, is in there as well, just further down.
What this work has done for other businesses
None of these are remodelers, but the work is the same. Pages planned around how people search, a faster site, links from the right sites and tracking that counts leads.
A 30-year-old stone business with plenty of experience, and a website that was holding it back.
It barely showed up in Google in its main markets. The technical problems got fixed, the site was rebuilt around what buyers search, and links came from relevant sites.
Google was wasting its time on 68,000 pages. They were cut down to the 8,000 that matter, and the category pages were matched to what buyers search.
What the first 90 days look like
No waiting months for a strategy deck. Work starts in week one, and changes start going live on your site and your Google profile in the first month. Searches for kitchen remodel costs peak in January, so if winter is close, the kitchen and cost pages go first.
Find what's worth winning
A look at your Google profile, your site, your competitors and what people in your towns search for. You get a plan ranked by what will bring in the most signed projects.
Fix what's holding you back
Your Google profile, technical problems, slow pages, call buttons and consultation forms. Call tracking goes in, so you can see what changes.
Build the missing pages
Your first project, cost and town pages, written with you, and a simple way to ask every client for a review.
Keep building, keep reporting
More pages, reviews, listings and links, AI search work, and a report in consultations and signed projects.
Kitchen and bath
Homeowners planning a new kitchen or bathroom, often for most of a year.
Cost guides, a page for each town, and finished kitchens and baths with real budgets.
Basements and additions
Families who need more room without moving.
Pages for basement finishing, additions and what they cost, with projects like theirs nearby.
Whole-home and design-build
Homeowners with a bigger plan, from a full gut remodel to an ADU.
Pages that walk through your design process, with whole projects shown from plan to finish.
The person behind Win The Search

I've run Win The Search since 2021, and I've done SEO since I was 14.
Before going out on my own, I spent five years at Munday Digital. I started there as a junior and left as head of SEO, after working on 20+ campaigns for Australian and global brands and managing the team of SEOs, writers and VAs behind them.
Since then I've worked on 120+ projects, including a 30-year-old marble and stone supplier up against strong competitors, and checked sites for SEO before buyers paid six and seven figures for them.
I plan the work and I do the work: the Google profile, the pages, the technical fixes, the AI search side and the tracking. Nothing gets handed off to a junior.
That's why reports lead with consultations, calls and signed projects from search, by project type and by town. Rankings and traffic are there too, further down.
What SEO for remodelers costs
Home remodeling SEO agencies that publish their prices mostly charge about $1,000 to $5,500 a month. Here's the price for the whole job, and everything that's in it.
Most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, depending on how many towns you cover and how much gets built each month.
An agency makes sense if you want ads, social media and a new website under one contract. If SEO is what you need, you'll get more done with the person doing the work.
Not ready for monthly work? An SEO audit, from $1,500, is a smaller first step.
What clients say about working with me
Vukasin is the best SEO guy I have ever worked with. He has a very strong understanding of SEO and how it correlates to our business expectations, and hardly needed any guidance on what we wanted done. Highly recommended!
Vuk is one of the sharpest SEO/AEO specialists I've worked with — deeply knowledgeable, always a step ahead on where search is heading, and just a joy to collaborate with. Responsive, easy to talk to, and genuinely fun to work with on any project.
Vuk exceeded expectations with his thorough, data-driven SEO audit. Everyone was very impressed with the quality of Vuk's work, his thoughtfulness and clear expertise. Plus, he's easy to work with, delivers on what he says he's going to deliver, and goes above and beyond.
An amazing SEO consultant whose knowledge goes beyond surface level. He's able to outsmart the thousand SEOs who are just looking at what everyone else is doing.
Vuk provides a really wonderful alternative to larger agencies. The results I got from working with him definitely rival what I've gotten from larger, US-based SEO agencies.
I'm impressed with the work he has put in to help me form my SEO strategy. Knowledgeable about the industry, timely with his work and generous with his advice.

Book a free call →What is SEO for remodelers?
+
It's the work that gets your company found when homeowners look for a remodeler on Google, on the map and in AI tools like ChatGPT. That means a complete Google Business Profile, a page for each type of project and each town, real project photos, steady reviews, a site that works well on phones, and tracking that shows which searches turned into consultations and signed projects. The map side of it is called local SEO.
What does remodeler SEO include each month?
+
The work changes as your company grows, but it's all done for you: your Google profile, new project pages, cost guides and town pages, rewrites of the pages you have, technical fixes, reviews and listings, links, AI search, tracking, and a monthly report with a call.
How much does remodeling SEO cost?
+
Ongoing work with Win The Search starts at $2,500 a month, and most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, depending on how many towns you cover and how much gets built each month. It's month-to-month.
How long until SEO brings in more consultations?
+
Fixes to your Google profile and to pages already close to page one can show up within weeks. Showing up across the towns around you usually takes 3 to 6 months, because pages, reviews and links need time to add up. Signed projects can take longer, because homeowners plan for months before they hire anyone.
How does SEO compare with Angi, HomeAdvisor and Houzz?
+
They work differently. Angi's lead service, formerly HomeAdvisor, sends each request to 3 or 4 pros, and you pay for the lead whether you win the project or not. Houzz Pro is a subscription for software and ads, not a fee per lead. A homeowner who finds you in search calls you and nobody else. It makes sense to keep a lead source while SEO builds, then lean on it less as your own calls grow.
What advertising rules do remodelers need to know?
+
It depends on your state. California, Florida, Washington and New Jersey require your license or registration number in most ads, and California counts your website as advertising. The FTC bans fake reviews, including AI-written ones, and Google doesn't allow asking only happy clients for reviews. If a page advertises a monthly payment, like “$199 a month”, Regulation Z requires the down payment, repayment terms and APR too. Your pages get built with all of this in mind.
Can we show up in towns where we don't have an office?
+
In the regular results, yes, with a good page for each main town you work in, showing real projects, photos and reviews from there. In the map it's much harder, and fake addresses get profiles suspended, so they're not worth the risk.
Does this help with ChatGPT and AI search?
+
Yes. Homeowners can ask AI tools who to call or what a kitchen remodel should cost, and lead sites are moving in too. Angi now has apps inside ChatGPT and Google Gemini. The answers lean on reviews, listings and websites Google already trusts, so the same work helps you get named in AI answers too. Nobody can promise you a spot, but you can need to be where AI looks.
Why hire a consultant instead of an SEO company for remodelers?
+
With an agency you usually talk to an account manager while the work happens somewhere else (usually a junior person). Here you talk to the person who plans the work and does it. A remodeling marketing agency is the better fit if you want ads, social media and a new website under one contract.
What do you need from us, and who owns the accounts?
+
Access to your Google profile, your website, Search Console and analytics, photos of recent projects with a rough budget for each, and a short call when new pages get planned. You stay the owner of every account. If an old agency owns your profile or your site, it can be moved back to you.
What will the monthly report show?
+
Calls, consultation requests and signed projects from search, and what they were worth, split by project type and by town. Signed projects come from your project list or CRM, so the numbers are real money. Where you show up across your towns, traffic and AI visibility are in there too, just further down.
Does it matter what our website is built on?
+
Most sites can rank. If yours is on WordPress, the changes get made on the site directly. If it's on another platform, they go to whoever manages your site with exact instructions, and get checked once they're live. Either way, you don't need a new site to start.
