Buyers ask AI who to buy from

More and more buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI for a shortlist before they visit a single site. The answer names a few businesses. If yours isn't one of them, the sale goes to someone who is.

Why AI leaves you out
01

Your pages don't answer the question

AI looks for pages that answer what the buyer asked, in plain words. A Services page and a slogan on the homepage don't.

02

AI uses your page but names someone else

Your facts are on the page, but your name isn't next to them. So the answer points the buyer to a competitor.

03

Other sites don't mention you

AI leans on lists, reviews, directories and articles. If you're not on them, you're not in the answer.

The fixClear pages with your name on them, a site Google and AI tools can read easily, and other sites that mention you. The same things that win in Google.

Everything it takes to win Google and AI search, done for you

You don't get a report full of homework. You get the whole job of getting your business found in Google, named in AI answers and chosen by buyers, handled from start to finish.

You'll see what AI answers brought in

Mentions are nice. Leads and sales pay the bills. Every month you get a report that starts with visits, leads and sales from AI tools and Google, so you always know what the work is worth.

01

Visits and leads from AI tools, counted on their own

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot get their own line in your analytics, with the leads and sales they bring in.

02

Your buyers’ questions, checked every month

The same questions get asked in each AI tool every month, so you can see where you're named and where a competitor is.

03

Google in full, right next to it

Clicks from Google's AI answers count as Google traffic, so leads from Google get reported in full too.

The person behind Win The Search

Vukasin Ilić, consultant for AI SEO services
Vukasin IlićNovi Sad, Serbia

I've run Win The Search since 2021, and I've done SEO since I was 14.

Before going out on my own, I spent five years at Munday Digital. I started there as a junior and left as head of SEO, after working on 20+ campaigns for Australian and global brands and managing the team of SEOs, writers and VAs behind them.

Since then I've worked on 120+ projects across B2B, software and ecommerce, and co-founded Linkter, an AI internal linking tool for WordPress.

I plan the work and I do the work: the pages, the technical fixes, the AI search side and the tracking. Nothing gets handed off to a junior.

My reports lead with visits, leads and sales from AI tools and Google. Mentions and rankings are there too, further down.

What AI SEO services cost

Agencies usually charge $2,000 to $10,000 a month for AI search work, often on top of what you already pay for SEO. Here's the price with the SEO included, and everything that's in it.

Ongoing work from$2,500a month, month-to-month

Most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, depending on how much gets built each month. The AI search work is part of it, not an extra.

AI SEO services: common questions

What are AI SEO services?

+

It's the work that gets your business named in AI answers, in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode, while you keep winning in regular Google results. Here that means the whole SEO job: pages, technical fixes, mentions on other sites and tracking. It's not the same as using AI tools to do SEO.

What do you actually do each month?

+

The work changes as your site grows, but it's all done for you: research, new pages and rewrites, technical fixes, getting you onto the lists and sites AI reads, tracking, and a monthly report with a call. You don't get a to-do list. You get the work.

How much do AI SEO services cost?

+

Agencies usually charge $2,000 to $10,000 a month for AI search work, often on top of SEO. Here the SEO is included, from $2,500 a month, and most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000. It's month-to-month.

What's the difference between GEO, AEO and SEO?

+

GEO (generative engine optimization) and AEO (answer engine optimization) are two names for the same goal: showing up in AI answers. SEO is about showing up in Google, and the two overlap a lot, because AI answers lean on the same things Google does. If someone sells AI search as an extra on top of your SEO, ask what's actually different.

Can you guarantee we show up in ChatGPT?

+

No. AI tools give different answers to the same question, and nobody controls what they say. Nobody can promise you a spot in an AI answer, but you can be where it looks. The monthly report shows how often you get named.

How long until we see results?

+

Changes to your own pages can show up in AI answers within a few weeks. Getting onto other sites' lists and reviews takes longer, usually a few months. In the case on this page, conversions from AI search went from 16 in the 3 months before to 35 in the 12 weeks after.

Why does AI use our site but recommend a competitor?

+

Usually because your page has the facts but not your name next to them. The answer takes the facts from you and the name from somewhere else. Adding your name to the pages AI already uses, and getting mentioned on other sites, is how that changes.

Will this hurt our Google rankings?

+

No. It's mostly what Google already rewards: clear pages, real answers, accurate facts and a business other sites talk about. What can hurt is rewriting pages only for AI, or publishing piles of AI-written content.

How will we know it's working?

+

Visits from ChatGPT, Perplexity and other AI tools show up in your analytics as their own channel, with the leads and sales they bring. The same buyer questions get checked in each AI tool every month. The report starts with leads and sales, with mentions and rankings further down.

Why hire a consultant instead of an AI SEO agency?

+

With an agency you usually talk to an account manager while the work happens somewhere else. Here you talk to the person who builds the plan and does the work, so nobody has to learn your business twice. An agency is the better fit if you want ads, a rebrand and a big content team under one contract.

What do you need from our team?

+

Access to the site, Google Search Console and analytics, and a little time from someone who knows what you sell, mostly a short call when new pages get planned. A list of the questions your customers ask helps a lot. Someone on your side checks each page before it goes live.

Does it matter what our website is built on?

+

Most platforms can rank and get named. On WordPress the changes get made on the site directly. On other platforms, like Webflow, Magento or a custom build, they go to your developers with exact instructions, and get checked once they're live.
