Hi, I'm Vuk

B2B ecommerce SEO that brings in orders, quotes and new accounts

Business buyers search Google and ask ChatGPT before they place an order, ask for a quote or open an account. This work gets your catalog found and chosen, and turns those visits into sales. The strategy, the product and category pages, the technical fixes, AI search and the tracking, all done for you.

Business buyers search before they buy

Before anyone places an order, asks for a quote or opens an account, they search for the product, the part number or the problem. If your catalog doesn't show up, or the page doesn't answer their questions, the sale goes to someone else.

Why catalogs miss those sales
01

Google only sees part of your catalog

Big catalogs create thousands of pages Google skips: filter pages, near-copies of the same product, products it can't read. The pages you sell from get lost in the pile.

02

Product pages don't give buyers what they need

Copied manufacturer text, specs stuck in PDFs and no clear next step. Buyers can't tell if it's the right product, so they go back to Google.

03

Sales from search don't get counted

Business orders often close by email, by phone or through an account. If only checkouts get counted, SEO looks like it isn't working, even when it is.

The fixA catalog Google can find and read, product pages that answer buyers' questions, and tracking that counts every order, quote and new account from search.

Big catalog? Product content can be written at scale from your own product data, and your team checks it before it goes live.

Measured in orders, quotes and accounts, not just checkouts

In B2B the person who searches often isn't the one who pays, and the order can arrive by email weeks later. If only checkouts get counted, SEO looks like it does nothing. So every sale from search gets counted.

01

Every sale traced back to a search

Forms, calls and new accounts are saved with where the buyer came from, so an order weeks later still counts.

02

Reorders count too

When an account that found you through search orders again, that revenue shows up in the report.

03

Rankings and traffic too

Google and AI search visibility are in there as well, just further down.

Two B2B sites, before and after

One had a huge catalog Google couldn't make sense of. The other kept getting quoted by AI tools without being named.

What changed
01

Cleared the clutter

Tens of thousands of pages nobody searched for were taken out of Google's way, so it spent its time on the pages that sell.

02

Made the products visible

The product grid loaded in a way Google couldn't read, so most products were invisible to it. That was found and fixed.

03

Matched categories to searches

Category pages were reworked around what buyers actually type into Google.

The person behind Win The Search

Vukasin Ilić, B2B ecommerce SEO consultant
Vukasin IlićNovi Sad, Serbia

I've run Win The Search since 2021, and I've done SEO since I was 14.

Before going out on my own, I spent five years at Munday Digital. I started there as a junior and left as head of SEO, after working on 20+ campaigns for Australian and global brands and managing the team of SEOs, writers and VAs behind them.

Since then I've worked on 120+ projects. The biggest B2B catalog I've worked on had 68,000 URLs, far too many to write by hand, so I built a Python pipeline to research and write the product content.

I plan the work and I do the work: the pages, the technical fixes, the AI search side and the tracking. Nothing gets handed off to a junior.

My reports lead with orders, quotes and new accounts from search. Traffic and rankings are there too, further down.

What B2B ecommerce SEO costs

Agencies usually charge $3,000 to $15,000 a month, often with a 6-month minimum. Here's the price, and everything that's in it.

Ongoing work from$2,500a month, month-to-month

Most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, depending on how much gets built each month.

B2B ecommerce SEO: common questions

What is B2B ecommerce SEO?

+

It's everything that gets your catalog found when business buyers search for what you sell, on Google and in AI tools like ChatGPT. That means product and category pages buyers can find and order from, a site Google can read, mentions on other sites, and tracking that shows which searches turn into orders, quotes and accounts. If you sell through quote requests and don't have an online catalog, manufacturing SEO is the closer fit.

What do you actually do each month?

+

The work changes as the site grows, but it's all done for you: research, new pages and rewrites, technical fixes, AI search work, links and mentions, tracking, and a monthly report with a call. You don't get a to-do list. You get the work.

How much does B2B ecommerce SEO cost?

+

Agencies usually charge $3,000 to $15,000 a month. Ongoing work with Win The Search starts at $2,500 a month, most clients land between $3,000 and $6,000, and it's month-to-month.

How long until we see more orders and quotes?

+

Fixes to pages already sitting on page two can show up within weeks. New pages usually need 3 to 6 months. Quote requests and new accounts often come first, and the bigger orders follow, because business buying takes longer.

Keyword tools show zero searches for our part numbers. Is SEO still worth it?

+

Usually, yes. Keyword tools miss most part number and spec searches because each one is rare. Across thousands of products they add up, and the people behind them are ready to buy. One search a month is worth a lot when the order is $10,000.

Our prices are behind a login. Does that hurt our rankings?

+

Not if it's set up right. The product page stays public with the specs, stock and photos, and only the price needs a login. Trade prices just shouldn't be sitting in the page code, where Google can pick them up and show them.

Our product pages use manufacturer descriptions and PDF spec sheets. Is that a problem?

+

It holds you back. Lots of other sites use the same text, so Google has no reason to pick yours, and specs inside a PDF don't help the product page rank. You don't need to rewrite everything: start with the products that bring in the most money, put the specs on the page and keep the PDFs as downloads.

Does this help with ChatGPT and AI search?

+

Yes. Business buyers use AI tools to shortlist suppliers and compare products, then check the supplier's own site. AI answers lean on clear product pages and facts that match across the web, so the same work that ranks you in Google gets you named in AI answers too.

What do you need from our team?

+

Access to the site, Google Search Console and analytics, and a little time from someone who knows the products, mostly a short call when new pages get planned. Your product data helps too, in whatever form it lives. Someone on your side checks each page before it goes live.

What will the monthly report show?

+

Orders, quote requests and new accounts from search, the revenue they brought in, and which pages and searches brought them. Orders that close by email or phone get counted too, because where each buyer came from is saved when they first get in touch. Traffic and rankings are in there as well, just further down.

Why hire a consultant instead of a B2B ecommerce SEO agency?

+

With an agency you usually talk to an account manager while the work happens somewhere else. Here you talk to the person who builds the plan and does the work, so nobody has to learn your catalog twice. An agency is the better fit if you want ads, a rebrand and a large content team under one contract.

Does it matter what our site is built on, or if we're moving to a new one?

+

Most platforms can rank. On WordPress and WooCommerce the changes get made on the site directly. On other platforms, like Magento or a custom build, they go to your developers with exact instructions, and get checked once they're live. If you're moving to a new platform, bring SEO in before the build starts, so your products and categories keep their rankings.
